Shatterglow: Crystal Puzzle

Effective date: 22 September 2026Publisher: PocketLoom Games

1. About this policy

PocketLoom Games ("we", "us") is responsible for the handling of information described in this policy. It covers the Shatterglow: Crystal Puzzle game on iOS and Android, package com.pocketloom.shatterglow, related support requests, and this policy webpage.

You can play without creating an account. Your saved game stays on your device. The game uses Google Analytics for Firebase to help us understand how the game is played and improve it. Analytics information is associated with installation identifiers, so we do not describe it as completely anonymous.

2. Information stored on your device

The game saves your progress, workshop and gallery items, tutorial progress, current puzzle, and preferences such as sound, vibration and visual effects. This information lets you continue playing and keep your settings. Older saves may retain unused legacy fields.

We do not operate an account system or a cloud-save service for this version. The complete saved game and puzzle layouts are not uploaded to us. Some gameplay actions and progress categories are reported separately through analytics, as described below.

3. Game analytics

The game uses Google's Firebase Analytics SDK. On Android, analytics collection starts automatically during ordinary gameplay. On iOS, game analytics is initialized and collected only while Apple’s App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission is authorized for the game and you have not turned it off in Settings → Analytics. If the permission is undecided, denied, restricted or cannot be confirmed, analytics stays off, the analytics SDK is not started and nothing is kept for later sending. The game re-checks the permission every time it starts or returns to the foreground; withdrawing it in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking stops collection. With permission granted, the Settings switch turns analytics off or on; it cannot override a refusal made in iOS. Your choice persists across launches, and an earlier choice to turn analytics off is kept. Turning it off stops future game analytics collection and resets the local analytics identity; it does not automatically delete previously transmitted data. This switch is independent of advertising privacy choices. Android versions may offer different controls.

Analytics can include:

  • App-instance and installation identifiers generated by Google services, session information, and installation or referral information.
  • App version, operating system, device model, language and related technical information.
  • Approximate location, such as country, region or city, derived by Google from network information including your IP address. The game does not request GPS or precise-location access.
  • Game screens viewed; levels started, completed or failed; move counts; retries; tutorial progress; workshop and gallery interactions; advertising outcomes; and changes to game settings.

Our custom gameplay events do not include your name, email address, exact tap coordinates, complete puzzle layouts or saved-game contents. We do not assign an account-based user ID. The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone or camera.

Puzzles work offline, but analytics events may be stored temporarily by the SDK and sent when a connection becomes available. Playing offline is therefore not a permanent analytics opt-out.

On iOS, Firebase Analytics is built without IDFA support; its IDFV collection and advertising storage, advertising user-data and personalization consent signals are disabled. These Analytics settings do not disable advertising SDK processing.

Advertising and privacy choices

The game includes Google AdMob advertising: optional rewarded ads for additional moves and interstitials at eligible breaks. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may process IP address and approximate location, app or device identifiers, ad impressions and interactions, crash diagnostics and performance information to deliver, measure, secure and improve ads. These disclosures also apply when the game displays test ads; test configuration does not mean no data processing.

On iPhone and iPad, the game asks for tracking permission only through Apple’s system ATT dialog, shown on the Home screen shortly after launch when iOS allows a request and no decision has been made; we do not use our own dialog as a substitute. You can choose Allow or Ask App Not to Track without limiting gameplay or the availability of ads. With your permission, Google Mobile Ads can access Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA) for delivering and measuring advertisements, which can include linking activity with data from other companies’ apps or websites. If permission is denied or restricted, Google Mobile Ads does not receive IDFA and ads continue in the mode allowed by your advertising choices. Advertising choices and consent, when required, are handled through Google's User Messaging Platform. A privacy-options entry is available in Settings when the SDK requires one. Turning off game Analytics does not disable ad delivery or necessary advertising SDK processing. See Google Mobile Ads data disclosure and Google advertising settings.

iOS update checks

The iOS game checks Apple's public store service for available updates. Apple receives ordinary network request information, including IP address; no saved game or player account is included. An available update opens the App Store only when you choose the update button. See Apple's Privacy Policy.

4. Support and this webpage

If you email us, we receive your email address, your message and any information or attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond, investigate problems and handle privacy requests. Please avoid sending information that is unnecessary for your request.

When you visit this webpage, the website host receives network request information, including your IP address, browser information and the requested page, to deliver and protect the website. This page contains no analytics or advertising scripts and does not set analytics or advertising cookies. Following an external link is subject to that provider's privacy practices.

5. Why information is used and who receives it

We use local game information to provide the game and restore your progress. We use analytics to understand game difficulty, feature use and technical compatibility, and to decide what to improve. Support information is used to answer your requests and protect our services.

Google receives the analytics and advertising information described above. Our current Analytics settings also allow Google to use aggregated, de-identified measurement data for modeling and business insights, and permit access for technical support and business recommendations. Sharing for the general improvement of Google products and services is disabled; Google signals is not enabled for this game.

Our website-hosting and email providers process information needed to operate the webpage and correspondence. We may disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect legal rights or investigate abuse. We do not sell your personal information.

For details about Google's handling of information, see Google's Privacy Policy, Google Analytics data collection, and Analytics data-sharing settings.

6. How long information is kept

  • Saved game: local progress and preferences remain until the app's storage is cleared or the app is uninstalled.
  • Analytics: our current Google Analytics retention settings are two months for event data and fourteen months for user data. New activity resets the user-data retention period. These settings do not apply to standard aggregated reports, which may remain available for longer. Google's deletion processing is not immediate. See Google's retention explanation.
  • Support and website operations: we keep correspondence and relevant operational records for as long as needed to answer requests, resolve issues, maintain security and meet legal obligations. We delete information when these purposes no longer require it.

7. Your choices and privacy requests

To erase your local saved game on Android, open Android Settings, select Shatterglow: Crystal Puzzle under Apps, and clear its storage, or uninstall the app. On iOS, delete the app and its local data through device Settings; offloading the app alone may retain data. Device or cloud backups are managed separately through your device settings. Menu names vary by device. Clearing storage removes your progress and settings. It does not automatically delete analytics already sent to Google. On Android, collection can start again if you reopen or reinstall the game; on iOS, it starts again only with authorized tracking permission.

You can ask about access, correction or deletion of information by emailing main@pocketloom.games with the subject "Shatterglow privacy request". Tell us what you would like us to do. We may ask for limited additional information to verify and locate the relevant records. Because there is no game account, your email address alone may not identify a particular analytics installation. We will explain any practical or legal limitations when responding.

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may also have rights to object to processing, restrict it, receive a portable copy of data, withdraw consent where processing is based on consent, or complain to your local data-protection authority. Reading this notice does not itself give consent to data collection.

8. Security and international processing

Analytics transmissions use encryption in transit. Access to the services we use is restricted to authorized access, but no storage or transmission system can guarantee absolute security.

Google and our service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including the United States. Different data-protection laws may apply. Google's privacy information explains its processing locations and applicable transfer arrangements. Contact us for questions about information we handle.

9. Children's privacy

The game does not ask players to provide their age or create a personal profile. The analytics and advertising information described in this policy can be generated when the game is played. The game is a general-audience puzzle and is not offered in Apple’s Kids category. We do not knowingly request children’s personal information. If you are a parent or guardian concerned about information relating to a child, contact us so we can investigate and address the request, including deletion where applicable.

10. Updates and contact

We will update this page when our data practices change and revise the effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent separately.

For privacy questions or requests, contact PocketLoom Games at main@pocketloom.games.
