This policy applies to Palace Party for Android (com.pocketloom.palace_party) and iPhone/iPad (com.pocketloom.palaceparty). It explains what information is processed when you play and how to contact us about your privacy.
1.The game and your local progress
You do not need an account to play. The game does not ask for your name, email, phone number or payment details, and it has no real-money in-app purchases.
Your progress, coins, boosters, rooms, decorations, daily tasks, preferences and ad-frequency counters are saved on your device. We do not operate an account or cloud-save service. Your operating system's backup and restore features may separately retain app data according to your device settings.
Depending on your platform and privacy choices, the game can send usage measurements to Google services as described below. Those measurements are separate from your local save and can contain information about your progress, such as which level you played or which decoration you unlocked.
2.Information processed by integrated services
We use Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the game is used and Appodeal and its advertising partners for Android advertising and privacy choices. On iPhone and iPad, we use Google AdMob, including Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP). Earlier Android releases may still use AdMob. On iPhone and iPad, gameplay Analytics is off unless Apple's system tracking permission is authorized and you have not turned Gameplay analytics off in the game. On Android, Analytics starts automatically. Advertising SDKs and their consent managers have separate advertising and privacy functions and can process information when the app contacts them, even if iOS gameplay Analytics is off. Showing a test advertisement does not mean that data collection is disabled.
| Service | Information | Uses |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics for Firebase | App-instance and device/vendor identifiers; app, device, operating-system and language information; approximate location derived from IP; app sessions and screens; gameplay events | Measuring use, understanding level difficulty and progression, improving the game |
| Appodeal and mediated advertising partners (Android) | Advertising, device and SDK-generated user identifiers; IP address and approximate location inferred from IP; app, device and network information; ad views and interactions; technical, diagnostic and performance information. Some partners also process crash information. | Serving and measuring advertisements, analytics, fraud prevention and reliable SDK operation |
| Appodeal consent manager (Android) | Consent status, privacy choices and associated technical information | Presenting regional privacy choices and communicating them to advertising partners |
| Google AdMob (iOS and earlier Android releases) | App/device identifiers, including Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) when tracking permission is authorized; IP address and approximate location; device/app information; ad requests, views and interactions; crash, performance and diagnostic information | Delivering and measuring advertisements, maintaining ad quality and reliability, detecting invalid activity |
| Google UMP | Privacy-choice interactions, consent status and associated technical information, approximate location and performance information | Determining and presenting relevant privacy messages and remembering available advertising choices |
Gameplay measurements include levels started, won or lost; move counts and coin rewards; booster use or acquisition; room and decoration choices; tutorial completion; daily rewards; and screen/ad views. We do not send the full game save or ask you to enter free-form personal information into gameplay events.
Identifiers can distinguish an app installation or device. They are not your real name, but they and associated events can still be personal data. We use the reporting tools provided by these services; information is not necessarily anonymous merely because a report displays totals.
The game does not request access to precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone. Advertising identifiers are subject to the platform's privacy controls. On Apple devices, access to Apple's advertising identifier requires App Tracking Transparency permission. Palace Party requests this permission through Apple's system App Tracking Transparency (ATT) dialog. With your permission, Google AdMob can access IDFA for advertising and advertising measurement, including linking activity with data from other companies' apps or websites. If permission is denied or restricted, AdMob does not receive IDFA; app-instance and vendor-scoped identifiers may still be processed as described above. Firebase gameplay Analytics in this iOS build does not use IDFA and keeps its advertising consent purposes disabled.
On iPhone and iPad, the game also contacts Apple's public App Store service to check whether a newer version is available. This request identifies the game and exposes normal connection information, such as your IP address, to Apple. It does not include your local game save or gameplay events. You choose whether to open the App Store when an update is available.
3.Advertising and privacy choices
The game supports optional rewarded ads, such as an extra waiting-bench seat or Daily Tasks boosters, and full-screen ads between completed level attempts. If an ad cannot be loaded, gameplay can continue.
Android releases with Appodeal request live advertisements. Development and Tester mode use test advertising. The iPhone/iPad configuration continues to request Google test ad units. Test ads can still involve SDK data processing.
On Android, Appodeal presents its consent form where required and checks whether ads are allowed before caching or showing them. Its consent manager may use Google UMP internally; Google Mobile Ads is not part of the new Android integration. On iOS, Google UMP handles regional advertising consent. When the relevant consent manager requires a way to revisit choices, Privacy Options appears in the game's Settings. Available options depend on the service, platform and region. These advertising choices are separate from gameplay Analytics.
On iPhone and iPad, the system ATT request appears during startup privacy setup on the Home screen when iOS allows a request and no decision has been made. A Google UMP explanation may appear first. You can choose Allow or Ask App Not to Track without limiting gameplay. We do not use our own dialog as a substitute for this system permission. Google's regional advertising privacy choices remain separate.
Gameplay Analytics is initialized and collected only while tracking permission is authorized and there is no saved local analytics opt-out. If tracking permission is undecided, denied, restricted or cannot be confirmed, gameplay Analytics remains off. You can turn it off separately in Settings → Gameplay analytics; this switch cannot override a refusal in iOS. A prior local opt-out remains in effect even if ATT is authorized. The local choice is saved separately from your progress and survives Reset Progress. Permission is checked again when you return to the app. Events that occur while gameplay Analytics is off are not saved by the game for later transmission. Turning it off does not erase information already sent to Google. AdMob and UMP can still process information for their separate advertising and privacy functions as described in this policy.
On Android, gameplay Analytics starts automatically and the current version has no separate in-game Analytics switch.
The current Analytics setup does not enable Google signals and is not linked to advertising accounts for remarketing. We do not upload customer email addresses, phone numbers or account IDs from the game for advertising matching.
5.Retention
Your local save remains until you reset or remove the app's data; device backups may retain separate copies. In our current Analytics property, event-data retention is set to 2 months and user-data retention to 14 months, with the user period refreshed by new activity. These settings do not impose the same limit on aggregated reporting or on data processed independently by other Google services. Appodeal, advertising partners, AdMob and other Google-held records follow their applicable retention practices.
We keep support correspondence for as long as needed to handle the request and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. Contact us about deletion requests.
6.Your controls and requests
- Local game progress: use Settings → Reset Progress. This resets the game save; it does not delete information already sent to Appodeal, advertising partners or Google, or your emails to us. On iPhone and iPad, it also preserves your gameplay Analytics choice. Removing the app's data does not necessarily remove device backups.
- iPhone/iPad gameplay Analytics: use Settings → Gameplay analytics to stop collection or enable it when system tracking permission is authorized. This optional switch cannot override a system refusal. A saved local opt-out is respected after restarting the game and resetting progress. It does not control AdMob or UMP and does not delete information already sent to Google.
- Advertising choices: use the game's Privacy Options entry when it is available, and privacy controls offered inside advertisements.
- Android: your device's Privacy/Ads settings may let you reset or delete the advertising ID. The location and wording depend on the Android version.
- iPhone/iPad tracking permission: use Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking to manage Palace Party's tracking permission. Turning it off prevents IDFA access and also stops Palace Party's gameplay Analytics. It does not erase your local progress or information already sent to Google, or disable every separate AdMob/UMP service function.
- Privacy requests: email main@pocketloom.games. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or restrict processing of your information, object to processing, withdraw consent where processing relies on consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. We will assess your request and help with relevant service-provider procedures. Because the game has no user account, we may need information sufficient to locate the relevant record; we will not ask for more than is reasonably necessary.
7.Children and security
Palace Party is a general-audience game. It does not ask players to provide their age or contact details. If you believe information about a child has been processed improperly, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action. Parents can use the device's parental controls to manage app access.
We rely on the device's protections and the security measures of our service providers. No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
8.Updates and contact
We may update this policy when the game or its services change. The effective date identifies the latest version. Material changes will be communicated through this page and, where appropriate, the app or its store listing.
